1 sack chocolate chips milk or semi-sweet
1-2 teaspoons shortening
12 Maraschino fruits WITH stems (these are somewhat elusive, yet they are an absolute necessity!)
1 sack Hershey's chocolate kisses
Unsalted peanuts split
Red-hots or minor cinnamon sweet
Directions
In the microwave or over the stove, liquefy the chocolate chips and shortening together. Mix until smooth.
Holding a cherry by its stem, dunk it into the chocolate and after that press a chocolate kiss onto the cherry.
Wedge shelled nut parts between the cherry and chocolate kiss to make the ears.
Spot this on wax paper until chocolate dries.
Include several specks of white icing for eyes, at that point put a little liquefied chocolate on a super hot and place on the finish of the kiss to make the nose.
